Merlot is the predominat grape variety in the production of this wine, was also used a 15% Tempranillo that it gives to complexity and balance. With the period of 6 months the wine has acquired notes of oak ageing without overlapping the characteristics of the grape variety
The elaboration process consists of a pre-maceration of the grapes with low temperature to acquire more body and enhance flavor. Then the alcoholic fermentation of the must takes place in stainless steel tanks, the must is in contact with the grape skins to obtain the desired color. Malolactic fermentation is made in stainless steel tanks and in barrels. The ageing process begins in French and American oak and ends then in the bottle where the the wine is refined and equilibrated gaining complexity and elegance.
Cherry red with shiny appearance. It has intense and appealing aroma with hints of red berries and soft notes of aging. The palate is fleshy, balanced body and acidity with noticeable tannins.
Ideal with stews, red meats and cheeses.
Coupage: 85% Merlot, 15% Tempranillo.
Ageing: 6 months in oak barrels and then to the bottle.
Alcohol content: 13.5 % Vol.
Serving temperature: 17-18 ºC.
Presentation: High Bordeaux bottle, 75cl.
In cartons of 6 and 12 bottles or wood 3 and 6 bottles.
